What a Proper Dyno Session Looks Like

Red Ferrari strapped to a dynamometer inside the workshop

The most valuable thing a dyno produces isn't a peak number — it's a controlled environment where changes can be measured honestly. A disciplined session starts with a health check and a baseline pull, because a tune layered over a tired engine is an expensive way to hide a problem.

From there, changes are made incrementally and verified under load: fueling, timing, and drivability across the whole rev range rather than a single glory run. Heat soak between pulls is managed, not ignored, and the session ends with documentation you can keep.

If a shop can't show you before-and-after data from your own car, you're buying a story rather than a result. That's the standard we hold ourselves to on every calibration.
