They solve different problems. Film is a physical barrier against rock chips and scuffs, so it belongs on the surfaces that take impacts: the front clip, mirrors, and rocker areas. Ceramic coating is a chemical barrier against UV, water spots, and etching, and it makes washing easier. Many owners do both — film on the front, coating over the whole car including the film.
The starting price covers a car in typical condition. Larger vehicles, heavily swirled or previously polished paint, and extra coverage change the time and materials involved, so we confirm the final number after inspecting the car — before any work starts.
Yes. Interior and exterior detailing is $109.99 for trucks and SUVs, and paint correction, coatings, and film are quoted on the vehicle.
That is why we measure first. Paint depth readings tell us how much clear coat there is to work with, and we choose the least aggressive combination of pad and polish that gets the result. Correction is about removing as little material as possible, not as much.
